I’m a Montreal native and I ran my first 5K in 2009. Since then, there have been a few bumps in the road but in the end, I’ve always fallen back in love with running. I’ve coached runners, worked at a running store, and have written countless fitness product reviews.
When I’m not running, I work as a freelance writer. My hobbies include reading, creative writing, podcast listening, cooking, and gardening. I’m married to the love of my life and we share our home with two black labs (Zoe & Rosalie) and a bird with a bigger attitude than all of us combined (Felix).
One of my big running-related dreams is to run a 100 miler someday. My non-running related dream is to finish and publish my novel.
This blog is a place for me to write about running and my journey back to the ultra distance. I also plan to write about food, cooking, and whatever else makes sense at the moment.
You can find my garden-related writing at frugalgardening.com I’m also a contributor at morningchores.com
